What’s collected

Your name, your email, and if you provide them your company and phone number, along with the content of your message and the request type you select.

Why

To reply to you and, where relevant, prepare a quote. Legal basis: your request, which falls under pre-contractual measures taken at your initiative.

Where and for how long

Your message is sent to me by email and kept in my professional mailbox. Requests that don’t lead anywhere are deleted after three years. Correspondence tied to a completed project is kept for the duration of French accounting obligations, ten years.

Who has access

Me alone. No data is sold, rented or passed to a third party for commercial purposes. The only technical intermediaries are my hosting provider and my email provider, both located in the European Union.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Your light or dark background choice is saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, and is never transmitted.

Audience measurement

Visits are counted with an audience measurement tool hosted in the European Union. No cookies, no IP address stored, no individual profile, no cross-site tracking. Data is aggregated: page views, country, referral source. That’s what makes a consent banner unnecessary.

Server logs

The server technically logs requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working properly. These logs are kept for a maximum of six months, then deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, a limit on its processing, or its portability. Write to contact@thomascollot.fr: I reply within thirty days. If the reply doesn’t satisfy you, you can contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr.

Your data during a project

If we work together, your business data that you entrust to me stays yours. Some automated tasks rely on artificial intelligence tools. By default, I use the ones that give the best results, some of them hosted outside the European Union. If your data must stay in the European Union, I work with tools hosted there. Before work starts, the quote says which data is processed, by which provider and in which country, and you decide. You can change your mind at any time.
